A wonderful opportunity to help the poor and aging in our community is just around the corner! The Redemptorist Center’s 4th annual Sock It To Poverty Golf Tournament will be held at the beautiful Lakewood Oaks Golf Club on September 11th. We invite you to join us for a fun-packed day of terrific golf on this exclusive course, fabulous auction prizes, a raffle, continental breakfast, on-course lunch and a reception following the tournament!
We are dedicated to raising money for programs and services to be made available to those who are less fortunate. The Center offers programs for active aging and the homebound, health care and disease prevention. We also provide services including emergency assistance for rent and utilities, food, clothing and legal needs. The caring and thoughtfulness of people like you enable the Center to share our citywide collection of new socks and underwear with over 30 local agencies. The Salvation Army, Operation Breakthrough, Cross-Lines and City Union Mission will distribute these much needed items to the poor of metropolitan Kansas City.
