Emergency Assistance

The Emergency Assistance program offers nutritious foods from the food pantry, a clothing room, rent ant utility assistance, reduced fare bus passes, personal care items, eyeglasses and prescription co-payments.  Delivery of groceries to the homebound and home assessments for the homebound assure quality of life for that population. 

Redemptorist Center’s annual Sock It To Poverty campaign in September provides new socks and underwear for our clothes closets and for 25 other agencies around the city.  New socks and underwear are the most requested and least available items in clothes closets around our city.  Back-to-school, Christmas and Thanksgiving materials, food, and gifts are seasonal programs.  Personal attention and assistance is provided every day to many individuals and families in need.

The Emergency Assistance program serves individuals and families in our primary service area .

General Emergency Assistance

Provides emergency food, clothing, personal care items, school supplies, eyeglasses and prescription co-payments.

 

Rent Assistance

Helps with rent payments or housing problems.

 

Utility Assistance

Can help with gas, electric and phone bill payments. 

 

Health Maintenance

On-site medical consultations and screenings and annual free health fair for seniors.
